Malta Permanent Residence (MPRP) &
Malta Global Residence (GRP) for U.S. Investors & American families
Protect your family’s well-being with Malta as your short-term, mid-term, or long-term solution.
For many American families, life in the United States offers a great deal — global connections, excellent education, and opportunity. Yet increasing uncertainty around long-term stability, personal safety, healthcare costs, and other factors are prompting thoughtful families to consider their options.
More families are exploring a reliable Plan B — or even a new Plan A — to diversify lifestyle and mobility.
Malta provides exactly that: a safe, English-speaking EU base, high-quality education and healthcare, and a welcoming Mediterranean lifestyle. It offers stability and flexibility, while allowing you to maintain your business and connections in the United States if you wish.
Why More American Families Choose Malta?
For many U.S. families, life is full of opportunity — thriving careers, cultural vibrancy, and world-class innovation. Yet recent years have also brought increasing uncertainty, prompting thoughtful families to consider establishing an international base.
For American families, Malta offers a European base that combines safety, lifestyle, and financial planning advantages. Many are drawn by Malta’s English-speaking environment, great climate with over 300 sunny days a year, and globally respected healthcare and education systems. At the same time, Malta provides strategic tax and wealth planning opportunities, with its tax efficient regime allowing families to structure their affairs efficiently while accessing Europe with ease.
For those balancing U.S. roots with global ambitions, Malta is emerging as the preferred European hub — a flexible and secure option for both short-term mobility and long-term relocation. Having a stable, safe, respected base in Europe offers peace of mind — and Malta provides exactly that.
