Kenneth Camilleri

Managing Director

Kenneth is the Managing Director and co-founder of Vertex Alliance. By profession Kenneth is a qualified and warranted accountant and tax advisor, and his expertise lies in residency and citizenship, international taxation, and wealth structuring. Previously, Kenneth held the position of Senior Director at an international law firm for a span of fifteen years, whereby he led both the Tax Advisory and Tax Compliance Departments as well as the Residency and Citizenship team responsible for the Asian market.

Over the years, Kenneth has spoken at more than eighty conferences and roadshows primarily in Asia but also across Europe. Numerous and diverse high net worth individuals have entrusted Kenneth with both their personal as well as corporate tax planning. Furthermore, together with his team of professionals, Kenneth has supported numerous tens of clients with acquiring European residence and/or citizenship.

Formerly, Kenneth has occupied senior positions at a leading five star hotel in Malta, whereby he was the Chief Finance Officer and subsequently the General Manager. He has lectured both the Fundamentals and Advanced ACCA paper in taxation and was well renowned among students for his practical approach in simplifying and breaking down complex tax matters.

Professionally, Kenneth is best known for being an achiever who embraces challenges, for being a leader who inspires, and for his pragmatic and creative problem solving skills.

Corina Bianca Chivu

Private Clients Manager

Corina who heads the firm’s general operations and the Private Clients practice, is the perfect epitome of the firm’s motto. Together with her team of professionals, Corina ensures that every client has a personalised and seamless experience. Focusing on the Asian market in particular, her meticulous and diligent work derived from years of experience in the field, is the highlight of our customer testimonials. With a passion for international cultures and customer relations, Corina holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Tourism Studies with the University of Malta.

Megan Hamilton

Advisory & Business Development Manager

Megan is responsible for leading the Private Clients Advisory Team and the business development strategy of the firm. With a career spanning over 15 years, Megan brings extensive e-commerce and entrepreneurial experience gained from founding two technology start-up companies in London and Malta. Megan successfully grew and managed a large portfolio of network partners across the globe from the USA, Canada, UK, Australia and Europe. A qualified Barrister-at-Law, Megan also holds a Master of Business in International Management majoring in German, and a Bachelor Degree in Communications and Public Relations from the Queensland University of Technology, Australia. She has held university lecturing positions in the field of International Marketing in London and Australia.

Mixue Qin

Advisor

Dedicated to providing the highest quality service, Mixue is a senior advisor in the Vertex Alliance advisory team.

Based in Malta, Mixue has worked in the investment migration industry for many years. Specialising in the Chinese market, Mixue has helped numerous Chinese clients and their families achieve their citizenship and residency by investment goals. Her attention to detail and problem-solving focus ensures her clients receive an exceptional service.

Mixue gained a Masters of Business Administration degree from the Anglia Ruskin University from the United Kingdom and has a Bachelor degree in Marketing Management from China. Mixue completed a two-year Maltese Language and Cultural History course and has been living in Malta for over 10 years.

Crystal Xie

Senior Advisor

As an integral part of the Advisory and Business Development Team, Crystal is a consummate professional and is highly focussed on providing an excellent client service.

With over 20 years of experience gained from working with Global telecommunications companies – Lucent and Nokia, Crystal successfully grew a large portfolio of telecommunications partners across the globe from China, USA, Canada, India, and Europe. As supervisor and technical manager, Crystal was responsible for managing all aspects of the client experience.

Crystal graduated from China Ocean University and holds the Bachelor degree of Electronics & Information Systems. She is also a certified Project Manager and SAFe coach.

With her passion for finding unique customer solutions and having gone through the MPRP process client herself, Crystal hopes to help more clients and their families to broaden their horizons and secure their family’s future.

Paul Cardona

Advisor

With over 20 years of experience working with the Chinese market, Paul possesses a unique combination of both entrepreneurial business skills and an insightful understanding of the Chinese culture.

Paul’s passion and love for the Chinese culture began when he travelled to study Mandarin at the Ocean University of China as a post-graduate. Using his business experience in Europe and his flair for customer service, Paul setup his own business in China to facilitate trade between European and Chinese companies.

Whilst living in China, Paul also had the honour of serving as a Commercial Attaché with the Embassy of Malta in Beijing, a role that further enabled him to successfully promote Malta as an investment hub for the Chinese.

Paul completed his Sales and Marketing Management studies in Malta and also graduated with a degree in Education from the University of Malta. Paul is fluent in Maltese, English and Mandarin.

Amy Yu

Strategic Partner - China

Amy Yu is a longstanding Strategic Partner for the Chinese market. With over 20 years of experience studying and working in both China and Europe, Amy has gained expert knowledge to help bridge the two cultures for our clients. A specialist in Malta’s investment migration programmes, Amy has successfully worked with many Chinese families to help secure their permanent residence status. Amy has an entrepreneurial spirit and holds a B.A. in English and a M.A. in Human Resource Management from the Leeds University in the United Kingdom.

Song Hai Nguyen

Advisor - Vietnam

With a background in foreign investment, Hai has many years of experience working as a consultant and tailoring solutions to clients’ needs.

Hai is an invaluable member of the Vertex Alliance team, responsible for the Vietnamese market. In his advisory role, Hai takes pride in guiding clients and their family members to choose the most suitable immigration by investment programmes to meet their needs.

Song Hai has a Degree of Information Technology from the Ho Chi Minh University of Technology.

With more than 12 years of professional experience, Sam provides counsel to the executive management by delivering strategic advice on the company’s business strategy and specific projects. Leveraging his previous experience in the sector, Sam guides the company’s advisory and business development practice, taking on the role of mentor for new business ventures. Sam has worked with one of the world’s leading investment and trading firms, top tier energy companies in the oil and gas industry, and in a leading law firm in Malta. Sam has attended and presented at various conferences and roadshows across Asia, particularly on the subject of investment, relocation and wealth management. He holds various degrees, namely a B.A. in Business Management, an M.A. in Finance and Accounting, and also a Master’s degree in Sustainability from the University of Cambridge.

Janice Fenech

Chief Operations Officer

Graduated with a Bachelors degree from the University of Malta, Janice works closely with Kenneth on the general operations, organisation and content management of the firm. Likewise, Janice has worked at an international law firm where she progressed from the role of Personal Assistant to becoming the youngest manager at the firm whereby she led the Tax Compliance Department which held a portfolio of over three hundred clients. Janice has served not only in residence and tax compliance functions, but also in corporate advisory. She is distinguished by more than ten years of experience, a sharp eye for detail, and a versatile brain.
