In its continued efforts to go paperless, The Malta Business Registry has announced that with effect from 1st March 2025, all company incorporations and dissolutions must take place via its online system BAROS (Business Automation Registry Online System) and provided complete and compliant documentation is submitted will reduce bureaucracy allowing a 24 hour time frame for incorporation.
“These initiatives are set to streamline processes, eliminate unnecessary bureaucratic hurdles, and compliment other projects headed by the MBR to ultimately offer holistic services” – Dr Geraldine Spiteri Lucas, Registrar of Companies.
